1. Order Fulfillment Model
Book Mania operates on a dropshipping model, meaning books are shipped directly from third-party suppliers to customers. Because of this, return and refund requests are subject to supplier policies in addition to the terms outlined below.
2. Eligibility for Returns
You may be eligible for a return or refund under the following conditions:
The book received is damaged or defective
You received the wrong book
The item is missing pages or has printing defects
To be eligible, you must contact us within 7 days of receiving your order and provide clear photos or videos as proof.
3. Non-Returnable Items
The following items are not eligible for return or refund:
Change of mind after purchase
Slight variations in cover design or print edition
Our team will review your request within 3–5 business days.
If approved, we will provide further instructions based on supplier policies.
Please do not return any item without receiving confirmation from us.
5. Refunds
Once your return or refund request is approved:
Refunds will be processed within 7–10 business days
Refunds are issued to the original payment method, where applicable
Payment Method–Specific Refunds
UPI Payments: Refunded to the original UPI ID used during purchase
Card Payments (Debit/Credit): Refunded to the original card; processing time depends on your bank
Cryptocurrency Payments: Refunds will be processed in cryptocurrency equivalent to the order value at the time of purchase (network fees may apply and are non-refundable)
6. Order Cancellations
Orders can only be canceled before shipment
Once an order has been shipped, cancellation is not possible
7. Shipping Costs
Shipping charges are non-refundable unless the error was on our part
Return shipping costs, if applicable, may be the responsibility of the customer
8. Late or Missing Refunds
If you have not received your refund after the processing period:
Check with your bank, UPI app, or crypto wallet provider
